specialist note taking for deaf/hard of hearing
Our specialist electronic notetaking service is perfect for students requiring support in university lectures, tutorials, group meetings, one to one interviews with lecturers or students.
We have provided this service for over 10 years and are passionate about helping deaf and hard of hearing students fulfil their potential in education by providing a reliable and quality service.
Our note takers are qualified, deaf aware and experienced in providing note taking services from humanitarian subjects such as Law, Geography and English to intensely academic subjects like Chemistry, Advanced Math and Civil Engineering.
How do you want your notes taken?
Sometimes, you might want bullet points capturing the main points of each lecture slide or important information for coursework and group presentations. Or, you might want to follow the conversation between class mates as they debate a theory – or that and more! You can tell us what you want and we will provide a document with the information you need.
Where do you want us to sit?
We can sit next to you whilst we note take, or sit anywhere in the room and provide you with an iPad or tablet to see what we are typing as we are typing it. Sometimes, students prefer us to sit anywhere and provide the notes after the lecture so they can lipread the lecturer, watch their interpreter or discuss the work with their friends.
How soon can you book?
We are available on short notice and happy to work evenings and weekends! We know universities sometimes give out timetables at the last minute, but we will try our best to move thing around as quickly as possible so you have support.
If there is anything else you want to know, please contact us using our form and we’ll be in touch within 24 hours.
